The holdings of the Department of Chemistry and Physics include: a Finnigan SSQ 70 GC/MS; a Varian Saturn 2100T GC/MS; a Brucker 250 MHz NMR Spectrometer; a Waters Model 600 E HPLC; a Varian 3300 GC; a Varian 3500 GC with a Tekmar purge and trap system; a Varian Spectra 220 AAS; a Microtox analyzer; a Hach DR3000 Spectrometer; a Mossbauer spectrometer, a Shimadzu 265 UV-VIS spectrometer; three Brucker FTIR systems; several Ocean Optics fiber optic spectrometers; and assorted electrochemical instrumention. All facilities are available to faculty and students for both teaching and research activities.
